We used island films to video our wedding at alassos wedding venue in Cyprus back in September 2021. The guys were absolutely fantastic, I honestly couldn’t recommend them enough. As someone who isn’t particularly happy with a camera in my face the guys made me feel so comfortable. Not only that, they really helped me and my wife throughout the day. We recently got back the highlights video of our wedding. It was absolutely everything and more than we could of ever expected. They captured moments that without the video we would of never remembered. My wife hasn’t stopped watching it. And family and friends couldn’t be more complementary. Island Films, where do we start? I think the fact that Liam had already been recording our preparations for about an hour before I realised he was there speaks volumes for his experience & professionalism - to be able to capture footage so discreetly was amazing. No cameras up in your face at all. My husband got along really well with Liam too with plenty of laughs and jokes later in the day together. We had extremely high winds on our wedding day and I thought the footage would have been ruined but Liam pulled it out of the bag for sure...! We just received the short film of our wedding and we are so over the moon with it that we have requested an upgrade to a feature film which of course was not a problem to Liam and El who does amazing work editing the footage. Well island films, I honestly don’t know what to say. I am massively speechless. To say myself and Jamie are blown away is a massive understatement to your incredible talent and doesn’t even come close to doing you justice. Im not sure what words I can use that would do it justice, but i’ll give it a shot. The way you captured the day is breath taking. The quality of the video makes me feel like I am right back in Cyprus at Liopetro with all my friends and family celebrating and doing it all over again. We have our video constantly on repeat. we've cried, laughed. This video to me is now priceless. To comment on the music you have added in the background, I couldn’t have picked better, it’s all just absolutely stunning. As an overall, Liam you were just so amazing to have at the wedding. I honestly feel like myself and Jamie shared this day with you and Ben but at the same time, you blended into the background so well, that once the general friends and family photos were done, we had forgotten you guys were there. Our friends and family absolutely loved you guys. We couldn’t be more grateful to you for what you have done for us. This video is something we will both cherish for the rest of our lives and we have you to thank for that amazing gift. Once again, thank you Island films from the bottom of our hearts. Wow we cannot even put into words on how amazing our video is from our wedding day! We received our short film 3 weeks after the wedding and we can see there has been so much work put into it. We both cried when we watched it and even family members have been in tears of joy from how amazing the video was put together. Liam and Ell put us both at ease on the morning of the wedding, we have never been filmed before and felt so nervous but they both made us feel so calm by their friendly presence. We felt they both had a massive part of our day, Liam making us laugh all day along with Ell helping me keep it together many times during the day by reminding me to put my tongue to the roof of my mouth to stop me from crying! Thanks Ell I’ll remember this forever at future weddings when I don’t want my make up to run ha ha. Since we’ve been home everyone has commented on how friendly and lovely they both were! They really did make our day and I’ll never forget them and how amazing they were. Thank you both for creating the most amazing video that we will cherish forever. What an amazing experience we've had with Island Films. When we booked our wedding in June 2019, we had actually picked another videographer. However, as soon as we saw Island Films videos, we knew we had to have them film our day! They were very transparent and told me from the very beginning what to expect and what we got was more than we could have ever imagined. We had to postpone our wedding in 2020 and changing our date was completely pain free. Liam and Ell were so supportive during this time, even though this had affected their business too, they were completely sympathetic and not only that; it felt genuine and that they truly cared about our day. We had plenty of emails on the lead up to the big day, just confirming final details and making our payment. We finally made it to Cyprus in Sept 2021 and a few days before the wedding, I had a call with Ell to chat everything through. What I loved about this is that they wanted to get to know our style and the kind of people we are. We are a very laid back couple who just love to be a bit silly and have fun. They fully understood this and assured us our day would be perfect! They weren’t wrong. The big day arrived, and Liam and Ell arrived whilst we were all getting ready. They were straight to work and I can’t stress this enough, they are complete pros. We’ve never been videoed in our life so I didn’t know what to expect, half the time I didn’t even know they were there! They worked so well with our photographers and just blended into the scenery/our wedding guests. They tell you when you’re needed and where you need to be/where you need to look etc. We didn’t have to think about a thing on the day because we had their great direction and for this we’re so grateful. We were both able to enjoy ourselves and this was all because of how amazing they are at their jobs. I know wedding videos can take a while to come back, the amount of work that goes into them is truly amazing so I left them to it and knew they’d be in touch. I had a message from Island Films in Dec to say that our film was coming up and then another message when he started working on ours. At this point, because I knew they were working on our film, I asked some questions about music etc. They were so great at informing us of what options we had and just honestly so helpful. We got our film a around a week before Christmas and what a present it was! We were seconds in and I was in tears with how beautiful it was. They listened to my music requests perfectly and created the ultimate memory for us. We could never thank Island Films enough for all the love and care they gave us before, during and after our wedding. All I can say is, book them. You will not regret it. If a picture is worth a thousand words, then a video is worth a million' I couldn't agree with this statement more. Every little detail, every important moment and all emotions of the day were captured perfectly. Now to have the video at out fingertips and being able to relive the day again is just priceless. Liam & Ellie, you are truly the best. You are super professional, and at the same time, easy and fun to be around. The thought of being filmed was stressing me out but somehow yous just made yourself invisible, we were surprised on how many shots yous have captured without us even being aware of it. From the moment we met Ellie and Liam I knew that our day was going to run smoothly and you can tell how professional they both are as well. Like any bride to be, I was an absolute nervous wreck and I was terrified about having cameras in my face. They reassured me this wouldn't happen and said "honestly you will not know we are here." And that was so true, even though I knew they were recording I was so calm. The footage is second to none, their work is absolutely incredible! But this shines through in their personalities. They are both lovely people who have got a brilliant connection with each other. I feel my review isn't long enough, I originally wrote this and right at the end it didn't save (typical.) But honestly, words cannot describe how happy me and Neil were with you both on the day. And our families as well! Ellie and Liam again a massive thank you to the both of you from the bottom of my heart. We loved our video! And this reminds me, I need to watch it again xxx.
