I picked up a camera in 2012. At the start, I was drawn to texture, structure, and atmosphere: abandoned buildings, architecture, and the kind of places that make you slow down and really look at what is in front of you.
That curiosity eventually pulled me into the UK music scene. I became a music video director, shooting artist portraits, music videos, festivals, travel commercials, and brand work. It taught me how to read people, movement, light, and atmosphere quickly, which still shapes the way I work at weddings now.
I found my way into weddings in 2016, and that is when I fell in love with everything about them. The nerves before a ceremony, the way families hold each other, the small looks that say more than any pose, and the pressure of having one chance to preserve it properly all felt different to anything else I had photographed or filmed.
Along the way, I have worked with musicians across the UK, covered festivals, travelled with my camera, and taken on commissions for brands including Nike and Adidas, including the chance to photograph Willow Smith.
Island Films is where all of that has settled: documentary instinct, portrait direction, music-world energy, and wedding-day sensitivity. I want our Cyprus wedding photography and films to look beautiful, but more than that, I want them to feel true to the people in them.
