We just got our wedding video back and it is nothing short of SENSATIONAL! It has made us laugh, cry and smile.

I was so nervous about getting a video done because I hate looking at myself from any angle, and at least with photos I can edit. I was waiting for the video to come and panicking that I would be cringing at certain parts of it. When it arrived I couldn’t believe how good it was. I am not an emotional person but I can’t watch it without crying.

I love the way the speeches are over the video. It captures the whole day. He has managed to make me look good from every angle. The music, the footage and the perfect shots make it feel like a movie. Friends are getting 10 seconds in and start crying — my friend texted me saying “well done, I’m crying in a coffee shop.”

Island Films, where do we start? The fact that Liam had already been recording our preparations for about an hour before I realised he was there speaks volumes for his experience and professionalism — to be able to capture footage so discreetly was amazing. No cameras up in your face at all.

We had extremely high winds on our wedding day and I thought the footage would have been ruined but Liam pulled it out of the bag for sure. We just received the short film and we are so over the moon with it that we have requested an upgrade to a feature film, which of course was not a problem to Liam and El who does amazing work editing the footage.
