Bethanie & Jamie — A Coral Residences Wedding in Paphos, Cyprus

Bethanie and Jamie's wedding came to us late. Their original photographer had cancelled close to the date, and when Bethanie first reached out she was understandably anxious about it. We sent her through some full galleries so she could see exactly how we work and what she would actually be getting back, and once she had seen the work she felt confident enough to book us through Marry Me Cyprus.

We covered the whole day, from the morning preparations right through to the party, with the ceremony at four o'clock at Coral Residences. We have broken the gallery into the way the day actually moved: the morning prep, the ceremony, portraits in the garden, golden hour down on the beach, and the party afterwards. We could not have been happier with how it all came together.

From the preparations

The morning began at Atlantica Mare in Paphos, where Bethanie got ready with her bridesmaids — the dress, the veil, the small details, and a lot of laughing. There is a particular energy to a bridal prep that is genuinely relaxed, and this one had it from the start.

By the time the dress was on and the bouquet was in hand, the nerves had given way to excitement. From there it was a short journey to the venue and the start of the day proper.

To the ceremony

The ceremony was at four, outdoors at Coral Residences, with the sea behind the aisle and white florals lining the chairs. Jamie waited at the front with his groomsmen; Bethanie came down the aisle, and the rings, the vows, the kiss and the confetti all landed exactly the way you want them to.

We were working alongside the couple's videographer, Thimisy, and their content creator, By B Media. Everyone gave each other room, which is exactly how it should be — the ceremony got to breathe, and nobody on the day felt crowded.

Portraits in the garden

After the confetti we took a slower lap of the gardens. Coral Residences gives you a lot to work with — manicured lawns, dappled tree shade, and the sea never far from view. We kept these unhurried and let Bethanie and Jamie just be with each other.

Then the whole party headed down to the beach below the venue for a group shot, which is always more of a celebration than a photograph — and all the better for it.

Golden hour on the beach

As the light started to drop we walked down to the beach below the venue. This is the hour everything is built around in a Cyprus summer — the sea turns gold, the veil catches the breeze, and you barely have to do anything at all.

These are some of our favourite frames from the whole day. For a wedding that came together at the last minute, the golden hour gave us everything we could have hoped for.

Into the party

Back up at the venue, dinner ran into speeches, speeches into the first dance, and the party into the night — sparklers, a full dance floor, and the kind of energy that makes full-day coverage worth booking.

By the end it was very clear how well the day had gone, and how glad we were that Bethanie reached out when she did. A last-minute booking, a wonderful couple, and a day we were proud to be a part of.
