How Much Does a Wedding Photographer Cost in Cyprus?
Words and photographs by Liam, Island Films
A straight answer to one of the most-asked questions from couples planning a Cyprus wedding: what to expect to pay, what changes the price, and where to focus your budget.

Pricing is the first thing couples ask about, and almost nobody in this industry answers it clearly. We will. Most couples getting married in Cyprus pay somewhere between €1,500 and €4,500 for wedding photography, depending on coverage hours, the photographer's experience, what you receive at the end, and how busy they are for your date.
The longer answer is more useful. Here's what drives that range, and where the differences are worth paying for.
What changes the price
Coverage hours, first, because it moves the number more than anything else. Half-day coverage of four or five hours costs a good deal less than a full day running from prep through to the first dance. Most Cyprus weddings want the full day, because the day itself is spread across several locations.
Experience. A photographer with 50 weddings behind them prices differently from one with 500, and the gap shows up in confidence on the day, consistency across the gallery, and how they handle the twenty minutes when something goes wrong.
What you receive at the end. Digital gallery only, or an album and prints too? A photographer offering digital files alone at a similar price is usually better value, once you're clear on what you want.
Travel. Some photographers add a charge if you're marrying outside Paphos. We don't. Travel is included for any wedding on the island.
Where the money really goes
Two things carry more weight than anything else when you compare Cyprus wedding photographers: how consistent the recent work is, and how the photographer behaves on the day.
Recent work counts because styles drift. A portfolio from three years ago tells you what someone could do then. Ask to see two or three complete recent weddings, start to finish, rather than a reel of the best forty frames from forty different days.
Behaviour counts because no amount of equipment saves a photographer who's rushed, awkward with your guests, or visibly stressed. They'll be near you for eight hours and they change the atmosphere of the room. Pick someone you'd be happy to have at the table.
What we charge
Our wedding photography starts from €1,495 for full-day coverage: eight hours from the morning preparations through to the first dance, with 400+ hand-edited images. It scales from there on hours, deliverables and whether you add film. Combined photo and film is where most couples land, because two complete sets of coverage from one team costs less than booking them separately.
For most couples planning a destination wedding from the UK or Europe, photography with us runs €1,495 to €2,000 depending on hours and deliverables, with combined packages higher again. The exact figure matters less than whether the coverage holds up on the day, so weigh complete recent galleries and how the photographer works before you weigh the headline price.
A note on cheap quotes
If a Cyprus wedding photographer quotes you well under the market, say €800 to €1,200 for a full day, ask why. It's usually one of three things: they're new and building a portfolio, they're fitting weddings around other work, or they've cut something from the deliverables that you haven't spotted yet.
None of those is a dealbreaker on its own. But you can't rebook the day. It's worth paying enough to be confident the coverage will hold.
