How Much Does a Wedding Photographer Cost in Cyprus?
A straight answer to one of the most-asked questions from couples planning a Cyprus wedding - what to expect to pay, what changes the price, and where to focus your budget.

Pricing is one of the first things couples ask about when they start looking for a Cyprus wedding photographer, and almost no one in the industry actually answers it clearly. We will. The short answer: most couples getting married in Cyprus will pay somewhere between €1,500 and €4,500 for wedding photography depending on coverage hours, photographer experience, deliverables, and how busy the supplier is for that date.
The longer answer is more useful. Here is what actually drives that range, and where the genuine differences are worth paying for.
What changes the price
Coverage hours. The biggest variable. Half-day coverage of 4 to 5 hours costs significantly less than full-day coverage that runs from prep through to first dance. Most Cyprus weddings benefit from full-day coverage because the day spreads across multiple locations.
Experience and reputation. A photographer with 50 weddings under their belt will price differently to one with 500. That difference shows up in confidence on the day, consistency of the gallery, and how well they handle the unpredictable moments that always happen.
Deliverables. Are you getting a digital gallery only, or also an album, prints, and wall art? A photographer offering only digital files at a comparable price point is usually the better value once you understand what you actually want.
Travel and accommodation. If you are getting married outside Paphos, some photographers add travel charges. We do not - travel is included for any wedding on the island.
Where the money actually matters
Two things matter more than anything else when you compare wedding photographers in Cyprus: the consistency of the recent work, and how the photographer handles the day itself.
Recent work matters because wedding photography styles drift. A portfolio from three years ago tells you what someone could do then, not what they will do for you. Ask to see two or three complete recent weddings from start to finish, not just curated highlights.
How they handle the day matters because no amount of equipment compensates for someone who is rushed, awkward with guests, or visibly stressed. The wedding photographer affects the atmosphere of your day - choose someone you actually want around.
What we charge
Our wedding photography starts from €1,495 for full-day coverage — eight hours from the morning preparations through to the first dance, with 400+ hand-edited images — and scales up based on hours, deliverables, and whether you add film. Combined photo and film bookings are where most couples land, because you get two complete sets of coverage from one team for less than booking them separately.
The honest answer for most couples planning a Cyprus wedding from the UK or Europe: photography with us runs from €1,495 to €2,000 depending on coverage hours and deliverables, and combined photo-and-film packages sit higher again. What matters far more than the exact figure is that the coverage holds up on the day — so weigh recent, complete galleries and how the photographer actually works, not just the headline price.
A note on cheap quotes
If a Cyprus wedding photographer quotes you significantly below the market - say €800 to €1,200 for full-day coverage - ask why. Usually it is one of three things: they are very new and building a portfolio, they are using the wedding as a side project around other work, or they cut deliverables you have not noticed yet.
None of those are dealbreakers on their own. But the cost of getting wedding photography wrong is that you cannot rebook the day. It is worth paying enough to make sure the coverage holds up.
